Diamond Anniversary

Post 74
Good Afternoon crafty friends out there.
Todays card is quite special, it's for a lady to give a couple to whom she was a bridesmaid.
The base of the card is some beautiful Centura pearl Snow white Silver.
I started with 3 panels. This was dictated by the fact my little Big Shot only has a width of 6inch, so to emboss all the way across the card would involve cutting the card anyway. The embossing folder I used on the outer panels is 'Tied Together' by Coutour Creations , I think this is my all time favourite embossing folder up to press! The ribbon covers the lines between the 3 panels.

I printed off the sentiment and cut it out using a circle spellbinder die, I then cut a frame using the same die and the next size up. This just looked too plain for such an important celebration card so I cut some fancy accents from my 'Moroccan Accents' spellbinders, and stuck them to the back of the circle. The flowers were intially all going to be cream and white, but I had to put a little purple in there too! All the flowers are from Wild orchid Crafts . The leaves just poking out from the flowers are cut from more centura card using the Spellbinders 'Bitty Blossoms' dies

The card was finished off with a pile of self adhesive gems, on every cross of the lattice, under the sentiment and on the insert...of course.

Oh... and on the box lid too!! Hee Hee!

Hope you like todays cards.
Any comments are much appreciated.
Happy crafting.

Happy Birthday

Post 73
Todays card is just a birthday card.
The main image is a stamp from Lili of the valley called 'If friends were flowers'. the image is stamped on some water colour paper then coloured with my Distress markers. I cut the paper down so it would fit into my Scalloped  Tag topper punch from Stampin up. I had to cut the bee and butterfly off but then I restamped them and attached them after the tag was complete.

Both backing papers are from Stampin Up, it's in the clearance section and is from a pack called 'tea for two'

The sentiment is from the stamp set Label Love, again from Stampin up and cut out using the co ordinating punch, 'Artisan punch'

The base of the card is some kraft card. All was finished off with some doodling around the edges, and some twill ribbon around the bottom half of the card.
Hope you like todays card.
Happy crafting.

10th Birthday

Todays card is one for my Mum to give my niece. The image is the beautiful 'Alisa with Roses' from Mos digital pencil. She is coloured with alcohol markers. Then glittered around the edges. The pattered backing paper is from my stash....I've had it that long I've no idea what it's called or where it is from.

In the corners are some flowers punched from the Stampin uppetite petal punch, inked around the edges then a gem put in the centre.

In the opposite corner is another punched flower from Stampin Up, this is from the itty bitty punches range.

I printed off the greeting on my computer.

Hope you like todays card.
Happy crafting.

Gift wallets

Post 71
You may have guessed I've got a wedding to go to very soon , I've got one final card to share but I HAVE to leave it until after the wedding!!
In the mean time I thought I'd share these two gift wallets / card holders as these days most couples only want money as a gift.
For both of the wallets I've used Craftwork cards papers, from the 'Correspondence ' collection, I don't think these papers are available on line, I bought them at their factory outlet in Garforth, nr Leeds.
The base of the wallet is centura peal cardstock. I got full instruction for this wallet from you tube called 'Snow much fun gift card holder'

For the wrap I used coredinations card, and for the label I stamped and embossed the 'Just for you' Label from 'Label Love' stamp set from Stampin up, and cut out with the co ordination Artisan punch.

On the video she has one pocket for a greeting and the other for the gift card. Instead I made a mini envelope with the Envelope Punch board which fits perfectly in the pocket and is ideal to hold a cheque or cash. I used the artisan punch again to make tabs on the top of the envelope and card.

Inside you can just see the two pockets, made from an envelope.

The second holder is made using the envelope punch board, again thanks to you tube 'Envelope punch board gift card holder. I used some twill ribbon across the top, and the tag is from Stampinup's 'Label Something' stamp set.

The stamp inside is also from the 'Label something' stamp set.

Hope you liked todays projects.
happy crafting.
